County Line Road Shift Limits One Highlands Ranch Plaza Entrance to Eastbound Traffic
Westbound drivers can still reach the shopping center at the signal near Circle K. Separate overnight closures between Broadway and Phillips Avenue are planned for October 4 and 5.
Douglas County says one entrance to the Plaza at Highlands Ranch is available only to eastbound County Line Road traffic during a construction shift for the week of September 27. Westbound drivers can use the signalized entrance by Circle K, which remains accessible from both directions, according to the county’s September 24 project update. That distinction matters to shoppers, pickup customers and delivery drivers headed to the center.
The county says traffic between East Phillips Avenue and the Target intersection has shifted onto newly paved roadway, with one lane open in each direction. United Properties identifies the plaza as its retail property at 2000 E. County Line Road. A Colliers property flyer lists Target as an anchor, and Target’s store listing for 1950 E. County Line Road includes pickup and delivery services.
Separate overnight closures are planned
Citing weather concerns, the county has moved planned closures of County Line Road between Broadway and Phillips Avenue to the nights of October 4 and 5. Each is scheduled from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning. The county says business access will remain open and lists Mineral Avenue, Dry Creek Road, Dad Clark Drive, Clarkson Street and University Boulevard as detour streets.
Daytime paving is scheduled for October 6–9. Drivers headed to the plaza during the traffic shift can use the signal near Circle K for access from either direction.
